Your business placement in the UK
Our UK Business placements are located right across the UK, from London and the south east of England, to large cities including Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Opportunities are available in many different types of companies but we generally have roles in:

Who can join our Business placements in the UK?
Business placements in the UK are available to students and recent graduates of Business-related degrees, such as:
- Business Administration & Management
- International Business
- Human Resources Management
- Marketing

Professional training
You will have a work supervisor throughout your placement. This is normally the head of department you work in.
Your work supervisor is the main “go-to” person for all your work-related queries. They will explain your role when you start your UK business placement, arrange your work schedule, give you feedback on your work and answer all your questions which arise at work.
Doing a Business placement in the UK has the advantage of working in a multi-cultural environment, often with colleagues from all over the world and where English is the common language in the office so you won’t have any communication barriers.

Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in our UK Business programme.
You will be paid a normal UK salary throughout your Business placement in the UK so you’ll be able to afford to rent your own accommodation either in a shared house with other people or in your own flat.
Orientations & Staff support
You will receive a pre-placement call from our UK office before starting your Business placement in the UK. We’ll help to prepare you for your first day at work and answer any questions you have abut your upcoming role.
After starting at your placement, your work supervisor will do a thorough orientation around the office and make sure you are introduced to the key staff you’ll be working alongside for the coming months.
Our staff in our Brighton office will contact you each month to check how you’re getting on and we’re on hand 24/7 for emergencies. If you join as part of your degree we will also communicate directly with your university Placement Office or Employability Office when necessary.
Health and safety
Your safety is our first priority.
We will complete comprehensive checks before you start your placement and if you join as part of your degree, we will help ensure that your university health and safety documents are checked and signed by your business placement in the UK.
This means your university is able to verify the work placement meets their criteria. We work directly with universities on this.
